The standard rate for a translation is calculated per page, on the text translated into Italian. One page consists of 1500 characters (25 lines of 60 characters) spaces and punctuation included.
As the text in Italian is usually longer, especially when the source text is English (about 20% longer) page calculation is not always exact, therefore all quotations are approximate and cannot be considered final.
Rates vary according to the text in question which, if complex, may require thorough research.
Discounts can be applied to extremely long jobs or texts where the language is repetitive enabling the use of translator assisted tools (e.g. Trados), or in cases where the project guarantees job continuity over a period of time.
For translations, style revision, draft correction, proof-reading, individual or company language courses or any type of linguistic advice please feel free to ask for a personalized quotation by completing the appropriate
